Why Yoga?
  • stress management
  • develop inner and outer: strength, mobility and balance
  • gain energy and focus
  • improve sleep
  • have FUN!

A little nervous?
  • If there was ever a time to try something new, it's NOW!
  • We love beginners! Please let us know if you are new to the practice!
We LOVE beginners and are here to support you by:
  • giving you ideas for making the practice work for you,
  • demonstrating some poses,
  • and/or giving you space to do your thing.
MASKS:
We welcome anyone who wishes to wear a mask. Masks are optional for our classes. Please do not come to the studio if you have had a fever within the last 48 hours or are experiencing potentially infectious illness symptoms. (Hop into a virtual class instead!)

Heated Classes:
At Wild Ember, we like to keep things pretty toasty, without melting everyone into a puddle. :)  Our heated classes are in the low to mid 80s, and our warm classes are in the low to mid 70s.

Still have questions?
Let's Talk!

Curious about Virtual?
Have you ever rolled out of bed for a live class in your PJs?
Life. Changing.

Have you ever squeezed in a 45 min class during your lunch breakcand still had time for a shower?
Done, and done!

Will this be "just another zoom meeting"?  Nope!
  • Other than the very beginning and end of class, you'll be on your mat, doing your own thing.
  • You will be listening to your instructor's verbal cues.
  • You might look up from time to time to see a demonstration.
  • Set up your space, light a candle or burn some incense, and immerse yourself in your practice.

HOW IT WORKS:
BOOKING:
  • You can sign up for classes on our website, or on the Momence app.
  • Registration closes 30 min prior to class.

Cancellation Policy:
  • Please be respectful of our team, and the value of their time and energy.
  • Late Cancels (up to 2 hours before class) and No Shows are subject a $25 cancellation fee.

CAMERA ON OR OFF?
  • We encourage you to keep your camera ON during our virtual classes.
  • This helps the teacher to check in with you, and it also allows us to connect as a community.
  • Everyone's sound will be muted during class, but we'd love to hear from you at the beginning and end of class.
  • We do record some of our classes, but participants are NOT recorded, only the teacher. We edit out all conversations prior to putting videos in our library.
  • If you do not want to put on your camera, it is not required. You can also check in with the teacher via the chat on zoom.

What do I need for class?
IN PERSON:
Just a yoga mat! Don't have one yet? Borrow one of ours and then we'd be happy to help you figure out what kind of mat to get.

VIRTUAL:
You don't need anything fancy to practice yoga! There are plenty of items at home that you can use to support your practice.

YOGA:

• Yoga mat or a rug that doesn't move around very much.
• Yoga blocks, thick hard cover books, water bottles, a chair, stool, couch, bed or coffee table.
• Yoga strap, a long towel, dog leash, pajama/yoga pants.

• Yoga bolster, thick cushions, pillows or even a stuffed animal!
• A blanket is nice to have nearby too. So is a pet. And water.

FITNESS:
Sneakers and water!

CHAIR YOGA:
A sturdy chair and a towel or yoga strap.

MEDITATION:
A comfortable place to sit or lay down.
