Clair Moore Sacramento, CA

Clair took her first yoga class in college and fell in love immediately. Back then, the mat became a place of refuge amidst numerous health struggles, and today it remains one of her favorite forms of self care and connection.

Clair strives to make her classes simultaneously energetic and relaxing, and accessible to all bodies. She teaches a fun and creative flow class, focusing on linking breath to movement, and aims to help calm the mind with guided meditation at the end.

Outside of the studio, she is a practicing clinical herbalist and devoted dog mom.

INSPIRATIONS: I am inspired by the 4 agreements: Be impeccable with your word, Take nothing personally, Assume nothing, Do your best. I am delighted by the sense of community yoga creates, by the dedication to self realization, and the ability of people to accept failure and truly succeed.
WHY I PRACTICE: I love to get on my mat and deal with whatever life tosses my way. I feel grounded, balanced, and joyful and know I am unique. If yoga teaches us nothing else, it opens us up to possibility, potential, patience and playfulness.
WHY I TEACH: My passion for teaching evolved through my nursing experience; I am a caregiver! Each individual teaches me things I never would have learned through training or books. I have tremendous satisfaction by observing so many people step on their mat and connect, flourish, and find their way to the wonderful community that is YOGA!

Joslyn Carrell Los Angeles, CA

Joslyn found yoga through the loss of a loved one. She utilized the beautiful practice of yoga to grieve and find herself again. If you ask her, she will tell you that yoga saved her life.

As a current graduate student, Joslyn uses yoga to stay grounded and as a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of her daily classes. Becoming a teacher was the bridge to being able to give back to the community of yogis who so often come to yoga looking for something bigger.Joslyn's goal as a teacher is to provide practitioners with a physical and spiritual awakening that leaves them feeling blissful and strong. She incorporates breath and meditation into her classes, exploring the the yin and yang of power and peace.

Joya Abbott Arlington, MA

Wild Ember combines the love for my family & community, with my passion for music & movement.  I (she/her) am a queer femme mom of two little yogis in training, a musician, and a yoga teacher and community builder.

My personal mantra during my teacher training with Prana Power Yoga was "Kindness, Stability, Flow". Those three words still resonate with me and I come back to them daily.  My classes are invigorating flows, focused on breath, alignment and self acceptance, sprinkled with humor and yogic philosophy.

I am passionate about creating a brave space for ALL.  Equity, anti-racism and walking the walk is a core value for me and the fuel that drives me!  I am committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in our yoga community, and strongly believe that yoga is for all bodies. I am SUPER PROUD of our teaching team and the community that we are building together. WELCOME!!

Juan Faragher Houston, TX

Hey y'all!! My name is Juan (pronounced JU-EN). I also go by Ju or Juju. I'm 25 years old (at the time of this writing). I grew up in Sugar Land, TX, but was originally born in England.

I received my Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Houston in 2019. I worked throughout my entire undergrad journey in the restaurant industry. Upon graduation, I had the opportunity to work in a local election campaign, an entryway into a career in politics; however, I turned it down because my intuition told me that I would be miserable had I accepted. So, I stayed in the restaurant gig and started practicing yoga late 2019 as a healing modality for years of back pain that I had been suffering.

What I discovered during that time was an enriching practice that changed the way I treated myself and my relationships around me. I felt content with myself for the first time in a long time. Feeling empowered with my journey, I jumped into my first YTT at a local studio during Spring 2020 with the goal of sharing what I had learned. I completed my teacher training that summer and started working as a yoga teacher when I wasn't serving tables.

Since completing my training, I've grown my practice off the mat; diving into yoga philosophy and ethics and researching the politics of modern-day yoga within the BIPOC and Queer communities and finally went full-time into teaching yoga May 2021. Yoga is so much more than what is perceived within the mainstream. It's more than just yoga pants and bendy poses. Yoga is a lifestyle that shapes the way you perceive your internal and external worlds.

In my classes, you'll discover an opportunity to explore your body, mind, and soul. Everyone's body is unique, and as a result, your practice on the mat is going to be a unique journey. I encourage my students to have freedom of expression when they step on their mats; giving their bodies full permission to be their best guide, teacher, and friend. Self-acceptance, cultivating joy, and exploration of self are common themes during my classes.

Lauren has been teaching since 2014; she has studied with Inner Strength Studios, FRC, and Yoga Tune-up

Lauren Froeb Winchester, MA

I have taught vinyasa style yoga classes since 2007 after completing my 200hr Yoga Training through Prana Power Yoga. In 2008 I completed my level one Reiki certification with Jené Rossi. In 2010 I completed my level two Reiki certification with Jené Rossi.  In 2012 I joined the faculty and began teaching the Prana Power Yoga Teacher Training, with a focus on Chakras, Yoga Philosophy & History and Sanskrit. In 2018 I completed my 500hr training with Jacqui Bonwell as well as a certification in Yin Yoga & Meditation and Yoga Nidra with Sagel Urlacher and a Level 1 Balanced Athlete training with Johnny Gillespie.

I love to use movement as a way to feel more connected and align my body, mind and spirit. The physical asana practice offers all of us space and structure that allows time for self-inquiry as well as the opportunity to strengthen ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually. My intention for the classes I teach is that I offer you time for self reflection and personal commitment while balancing smart functional movement, physical challenge and ease. You will finish my vinyasa classes feeling invigorated and inspired to begin or finish your day with a sense of purpose in your heart, physical ease in your body and clarity in your mind. You will finish my yin and meditation classes with a feeling of rejuvenation and ease.  Regardless of vinyasa or yin style, I truly believe that our mats are a place where we carve out time to rest, reorganize, restore & reset ourselves. I cannot wait to practice with you!

My Yoga Mission
I have a lifelong love of teaching people
I have a profound respect and appreciation for spirituality
I have gratitude for opportunities that let me feel the energy of those around me
to align
to inspire
to share the teachings
to create & explore connections
to encourage kindness & self-love
to hold physical and mental space
to allow others to come back to themselves, to be self-aware without being self-absorbed
to offer the time for people to define a purpose for themselves and commit to living it
because it is fascinating how the human body & mind connect with one another in conscious and unconscious ways
because the practice is a ritual that unlocks energy and potential
because when I slow down I find great purpose, even in mundane day-to-day responsibilities
because it makes me a better wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter, being!
